E10 - Israeli intelligence

Our Japanese correspondent Adachi heard "ABC" on 6428 kHz at 1708 UTC on 25 May. It looks like this frequency is solely used for this call these days.

Paul reports a string from KPA: KPA ZHAZ0905Z2050; heard on 9 May at 1930 to 2045 UTC on 5230 kHz. 0905z2050 clearly stands for the date and time, but the rest.......

E10 transmitted a "SE" string for hours on 5 May following the calls VLB, CIO and SYN.

4015 kHz 2150 UTC VLBSE
5170 kHz 2145 UTC VLBSE
6930 kHz 2013 UTC VLBSE

4781 kHz 2147 UTC SYNSE
7605 kHz 2053 UTC SYNSE

5341 kHz 2144 UTC CIOSE
6912 kHz 2040 UTC CIOSE

Tomonori had a few nice catches with:

5435 kHz 1731 UTC ART1 (27 May)
7358 kHz 1700 UTC FTJ1 (27 May)

V13 - New star broadcasting company

Hideharu Torii surprised us with an interesting note: "The name of V13 is not New Star Broadcasting Station but Star Star radio station.", he says and explains : "According to Mr. Toru Yamashita of the Asian Broadcasting Institute, V13 has been broadcasting a message, requesting listeners to send letters by e-mail or post. It says its mail address is w2789@hotmail.com and its postal address is P.O. Box 12587, Taipei. Mr. Yamashita sent an e-mail to the address and received a following reply from the station.

Dear Mr. Toru
Thanks for your e-mail dated on 15th April. It is great to know you are interested in our program. We are "Star Star radio station" and our current subject is issues of APEC between Taiwan & Mainland China. If you have any information of it, please do not hesitate to contact us. Also, we would to know more details about you before we offer further proposal to you. We are very appreciated it we could send your resume to us.

Now, isn't that cool? I wonder if they now also send out QSL cards!
