Note that all numbers are sent long with the exception of 0, which is sent as a "T".

M23

M23's transmissions have drastically decreased lately. It was reported on 14320 kHz with two weekly Sunday transmissions at 1700 UTC (310) and at 1730 UTC (555).

A reliable source reports that M23 is located in north-west France. Various triangular dfs pinpointed the station in an area west of Paris.

M21

PVO was very clear throughout the month, especially on 3322 kHz. Also active on 4631.5, 4941.5, 5139.5, 5198, 5860.5, 5873 and 6823.5 kHz.

Our Swiss correspondent Fritz heard M21 on a number of the above frequencies and noted that 3322 is in parallel with 4951.5 kHz.

M51

Only two logs of this station: 3165 and 5764.3 kHz.

The station sends messages of 100 5-letter groups. The messages are numbered from 01 to 90. Each message start with a string like this:

NR 38 N 30 08:13:28 1999

meaning:

NR 38 message number, it is a one-up number from 01-90, which returns to the beginning again
N first letter of the month in French
30 date
08:13:28 Central European Time (UTC +2 Summer, UTC+1 in Winter) Sometimes, it lags real time by a few minutes.
