The new Australian defence HF network uses voice contact channels 9340, 10212, 12172 kHz around the clock. (info via Glenn)

Dallas sent us a note that on August 30th through to Sept 3rd, the New Zealand Army will hold an exercise at Charlston on the West Coast of the South Island some 20 odd Kms south of Westport. Dallas says that the stations should be active in the 30 and 40 MHz bands as well as on normal HF and VHF.
