Utility round-up

Unid CW stations

Attu and Greg both logged a number of stations probably from Eastern/Northern Russia or China.

Attu comments

"The signals I feel are from eastern to northern China & Russia, except for 8658 kHz W3GN. This W3GN is an unique one, similar to our old friend NYZ on 6840 and 4860 kHz. MWKJ & VTID normally transmit during two 10 min periods each hour. Subject to send various encrypted msg's the last few days of each calendar month."

8658 0025 12-11 W3GN: duplex, contacted SGXJ, CLOV, 4HTX, KJBO, QONV, 5K2V, NPOD
  0258 11-11 W3GN: calling NPOD
8700 0140 06-11 Z4GD: simplex net, Z-signals, callsigns: EHMC, 1XHC, J3DN net often sends: QYT9
  0020 22-11 LDN3: simplex net, "6RWJ QYT4 ZTS ZPF ZBZ K"
0032 22-11 LDN3: simplex net, "6RWJ QYT9 ZJR ZPQ ZRL"

Note:
These nets intrigue me, Attu. 3178, 3343 and 3802 kHz are possible Russian but it is not likely that these are tactical nets. 8700 kHz is a Russian military net. -Ary-
